3 Quotes to World Peace

OK, the truth is, I have no idea how we can achieve world peace, but maybe we could start here:

Have nothing to say unless, of course, we are about to witness someone’s immediate suicide or are standing in the dark shadows of potent evil…

He that would live in peace and at ease must not speak all he knows or judge all he sees. ~ Benjamin Franklin

And remember to stop trying to converse with the insane and the chronically stupid…

It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into. ~ Jonathan Swift

And maybe the most impossible of all…

Why doesn't everybody leave everybody else the hell alone. ~ Jimmy Durante

Hey, it may not bring world peace, but it would get us headed right in the right direction.

  1. Why can’t we treat other people the way we would like to be treated? It is simple and old as time itself, but so seldom practiced. Maybe we don’t love ourselves enough.

  2. Sounds good and seems easy to accomplish. However, as long as there are evil, egotistical. power hungry, and unreasonable people in the universe, world peace will be unattainable. Your concept is well put, and maybe attainable in another lifetime, but not in this one.
