Happy Easter

This morning, Hobby Lobby delivered this message in my email inbox–and I think it is such a beautiful reminder that we must believe in something unfathomable and sublime if we are to attempt to live our lives boldly and abundantly.

We all need to find the will, the strength, and the courage to face the holy mess of our times. Will, strength, and courage are gifts of faith.

Whatever your religious beliefs, or lack thereof, we all need to find our way to faith, to be able to hold firm to something that is past human understanding; something that gives us the will, the strength, and the courage to face the holy mess of our times.

When we consider the chaos that is human existence; the ceaseless race for more and more and more; the nonsensical… the hungry and the starving; the savage rage and the agony; and the bomb- and trigger-happy executioners, wouldn’t it be comforting to have something or someone to believe in?!

Call to action:  Where have you placed your faith? And if you haven’t yet found a home for your faith, do you believe that finding something or someone to believe in is one of life’s most worthy goals?

  1. I strongly believe that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I am a true believer in the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To me, this YouTube video is very authentic.
